November 28, 2008 LB David Harris (groin) could possibly return to action in Week as could S Eric Smith (concussion), according to Scout.com. "Both of them have participated substantially in practice," said HC Eric Mangini. "We'll have to see with David where he's going to be. Eric, I will look at him and see where he's is as well."

Our View:This is encouraging news for the rising star, but he still isn't expected to return to action in Week 13. David Bowens should make another start in his place against Denver.

Our View:He should return for the closing weeks of the season, and shall remain stashed on fantasy rosters.
November 5, 2008 Inside linebacker David Harris underwent groin surgery Wednesday and will miss at least two or three weeks, according to the New York Daily News.
Our View:Some thought that Harris' hamstring was getting better, so the news of the surgery was a surprise. Harris is the leading tackler on the Jets defense and his absence will be a big hole.
