As expected, Ryan Torain suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in his first career start Thursday against Cleveland, according to ESPN.

Our View:The initial diagnosis states that the rookie suffered a clean tear, and should be ready for training camp next season. The Broncos gravely need help with Michael Pittman and Andre Hall also on IR, and the top available free agents are Tatum Bell, Mike Bell, and Vernand Morency.

Ryan Torain is expected to be placed on season-ending IR after sustaining a left knee injury in Thursday's battle at Cleveland, according to NFL.com. It is believed he sustained a torn ACL, but will undergo more testing this weekend to be certain.

Our View:The Broncos also lost Andre Hall and Michael Pittman for the season, and Selvin Young aggravated his groin injury last night as well. It is possible that seventh-round rookie Peyton Hillis could carry the bulk of the workload at running back in Week 11.

Ryan Torain went down with a left knee injury in the second quarter of Thursday's game. His return is uncertain at this point.

Our View:Torain was doing quite well up to this point, rushing for 68 yards on 12 carries with one touchdown. We'll update you on his status when we have more information.

Ryan Torain rushed for his first career touchdown in the first quarter of Thursday night's game.

Our View:With Michael Pittman out for the year, Torain could prove to be very valuable in fantasy leagues.
November 6, 2008
Contradicting an earlier report, Ryan Torain will still be the Broncos' starter at running back Thursday, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:The Broncos are expected to run the ball heavily, so Torain should be a good bet against the Browns.
