April 3, 2008 Jay Moore has gone from 272 pounds to 259 pounds and will be playing outside linebacker for the 49ers next season, according to the Sacramento Bee. He is also recovered from a high ankle sprain that cost him his entire rookie season. The Niners are hoping Moore can provide some pass rush in 2008 that they were missing last year. He'll most likely be a backup but could force his way into the starting lineup with a strong training camp.
