Kicker Joe Nedney did much of the scoring in the Week 6 loss to the Eagles. He kicked four field goals and chipped in two extra points.
Our View:The 49ers have struggled to finish off drives this year, as evidenced by the fact that Nedney has seen multiple field goal chances in five of six games. Joe isn't a great fantasy kicker, but he can be useful in a pinch.

49ers kicker Joe Nedney was fined $7,500 by the NFL for an obscene gesture directed at his home fans during last Sunday’s loss to the Saints. After Nedney made a 29-yard field goal, he kicked the ensuing kickoff out of bounds. After throwing his helmet and kicking tee he sat on the bench and rubbed the back of his head with his middle digit at a fan who had been heckling him.

Joe Nedney, who tested his groin and hip injuries by kicking during practice Friday, remains listed as questionable, according to the San Jose Mercury News. 49ers coach Mike Nolan said he would wait to see how Nedney responded to the practice session before deciding if he'll be active tomorrow.

Joe Nedney is expected to play Sunday despite missing practice this week with his groin/hip injury, according to the 49ers' official website. He is still listed as questionable on the Week 13 injury report.

The Contra Costa Times reports that Joe Nedney did not practice on Wednesday but may try to get some work in today. Nedney missed Week 12 with a groin strain and is listed as questionable this week. It's possible that the Niners will have both Nedney and Jose Cortez on the active roster on Sunday.
