Our View:Richardson is not much more than a nickel back and he has no fantasy value.
October 20, 2008 The Patriots have signed cornerback Mike Richardson to the 53-man roster, the Boston Globe reports. He has been on the practice squad since late August.
Our View:The Patriots listed only one defensive back on their injury report this week, but they had a couple guys banged up last Sunday. It never hurts to have extra defensive backs, even though Washington's contributions will likely be limited to special teams.
