September 1, 2008 Torrance Daniels has been claimed off waivers by the Eagles, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. He was let go by the Giants. Linebacker Rocky Boiman has been released to make room on the roster.
Our View:He was a special teams contributor with the Giants last season, and had a key forced fumble at the start of the second half that led to a field goal in the Giants' wildcard playoff win over the Buccaneers. This is his second stint with the Eagles, as he was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006.
