Our View:The word is his assistants will not be back either. He was the head coach in Kansas City, got fired, and later returned to be the team's coordinator.
December 22, 2008 The Kansas City Star reports that Glenn Dorsey needs to line up on the outside shoulder of the guard in order to be effective. Instead, he has been used all season straight-up over guard. The Star believes this is the single-worst, defensive-strategy of the Chiefs' past 15 years. "He has no chance in pass rush,” guard Brian Waters said.
Our View:The article makes some good points and helps explain Dorsey's lackluster rookie season, after dominating his last two seasons in the SEC. Dorsey is to small to take on NFL guards one-on-one and he would be more effective exploding through gaps.
