Our View:Jones has only registered 22 tackles in 2008 and doesn't have any fantasy value.

Jason Jones will not play in Sunday's game against the Jaguars, according to the Associated Press. He sustained a foot injury last week against the Bears.

Our View:Jones hasn't had much fantasy value this year, only having 22 tackles and one and a half sacks with the Titans this year.

Titans rookie Jason Jones had to leave Wednesday's practice after suffering an injury to his elbow, according to the Tennessean.

Our View:The extent of the injury, or if Jones will miss any time is not known. He is a backup at defensive tackle, and would see some time in the rotation there.

Jason Jones garnered praise from his team-mates Saturday after the Titans' preseason opener against the Rams, according to the Tennessean. He grabbed running back Brian Leonard in the backfield in the first quarter and tossed him for a 3-yard loss. He ended his outing with four tackles and veteran Albert Haynesworth said, "Including my rookie year, I've never seen a rookie that far along. If he keeps working like he is, he's going to be really, really good."

Our View:Jones could develop into a starter for the Titans, but should work as a backup in his first season, and his fantasy value will be limited.

The Titans have reached contract terms with 2nd-round draft pick defensive lineman Jason Jones , according to SLAM Sports.

Our View:Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Jones was the 54th pick overall, and the 6-foot-5, 273-pound defensive lineman had 14 sacks at Eastern Michigan where he started 36 of 45 games. He had 19 1/2 tackles for loss as a senior. Now the Titans have just one rookie remaining without a contract, that being 1st-round running back Chris Johnson.
