Our View:Thomas is a USC product who has good size for a cornerback at 6-1, 200. He is dealing with hamstring issues, however, and it is not known when he will return.

May 10, 2008 Rookie Terrell Thomas (USC) commented on his potential role in the Giants' secondary, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Thomas Said, "I know they have some great corners, but why wouldn’t I want to come in here and start? That's what they drafted me for."
Our View:Aaron Ross should be locked into one starting spot, but Thomas could compete with aging vet Sam Madison and Corey Webster for the other spot. Thomas has the talent to be an excellent NFL cornerback, but needs work on his footwork. He excels in zone coverage and makes quick reads.
