July 27, 2008 ESPN.com reports that fifth round selection DeMario Pressley will miss the entire season after fracturing his foot on Sunday. The Saints filled his roster spot by signing free agent defensive end Marquies Gunn. Gunn spent parts of 2007 on the practice squads of the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Our View:Pressley did not figure to start this season so this shouldn't alter New Orleans defense too much. Still, it means defensive line depth will be an issue once again for the Saints this season.
July 13, 2008 The Saints have signed their fifth-round pick, defensive end DeMario Pressley, to a three-year contract, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Our View:Will Smith and Charles Grant man the edges for New Orleans, so Pressley will likely have to make his mark on special teams.
