June 10, 2008 The Falcons came to terms with cornerback Chevis Jackson on Tuesday, the team's official web site notes. Jackson was a third-round pick (68th overall) out of LSU. Terms were not disclosed.
Our View:Jackson is hoping to earn a nickel role as a rookie and eventually start opposite Chris Houston. He played well against high-end competition at LSU, but Chevis make lack the necessary speed to develop into a shut-down corner.
