June 10, 2008 The Falcons came to terms with safety Thomas DeCoud on Tuesday, the team's official web site notes. DeCoud was a third-round pick (98th overall) out of California. Terms were not disclosed.
Our View:Erik Coleman and Lawyer Milloy are likely to be the starting safeties when 2008 opens, but the club apparently likes what DeCoud brings to the table. He could start later in the season and take over Milloy's spot prior to 2009.
