Our View:Howard is expected to see action as a pass-rusher in the rotation at defensive end behind starters Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney, who is coming back from foot surgery. He could register a few sacks and hold some fantasy value in deeper IDP leagues.

Our View:Freeney is coming back off his foot injury and will likely need to be spelled, at least early on, making the presence of Howard a nice luxury. Look for the raw Howard to use his quickness to compensate for his lack of ideal size (237 lbs).
