Raiders receiver Chaz Schilens suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 10, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:The Raiders did not say how serious the injury was or what his status for next week is.
November 9, 2008
Wide receiver Chaz Schilens limped off the field in the third quarter of the Week 10 game against the Panthers. He may have sprained his right ankle.

Our View:The rookie has been starting, but he has no fantasy value. We'll update his status once more is known.
October 26, 2008
Wide receiver Chaz Schilens caught three passes for 76 yards in the Week 8 loss to the Ravens. He had a 60-yard gain

Our View:The Raiders are searching for any positives in their receiving corps, and this rookie has done a decent job in his two starts. Maybe they have something here.
October 24, 2008
Coach Tom Cable stated that Chaz Schilens will start another game at receiver over Ronald Curry this weekend against Baltimore, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View:Schilens is a big target (6-4 225 pounds) with solid speed and quickness, but does not merit fantasy consideration against a dominant Ravens' pass defense.
October 17, 2008
Chaz Schilens has been named the starter for the Raiders' Sunday matchup with the New York Jets replacing Ronald Curry, according to the Contra Costa Times. Javon Walker will remain the starter at the split end.

Our View:The 6-4, 225 lbs Schilens will give JaMarcus Russell a big target to toss passes to, but given the Raiders struggles in the air, we aren't overly optimistic that Chaz will suddenly become fantasy worthy.
