Rookie Kareem Moore has been performing well so far in training camp, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:The team is especially pleased with his body control and the efficiency of his movement. The sixth-round pick out of Nicholls State should see a lot of action in Saturday's preseason game, but isn't going to challenge for a starting spot this season, behind Laron Landry and Reed Doughty.

The Redskins have inked sixth-round pick Kareem Moore (Nicholls State), according to the Washington Post. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Our View:Moore has good size at 6-2 203 pounds, but must work on his technique before he can challenge for a spot in the Redskins' secondary. He is also recovering from knee surgery.

Kareem Moore has been absent from minicamp in early May and agent Jeremy Sanders commented on his client, according to the Washington Post. Sanders said, "Kareem injured his knee ironically while participating in a college all-star game in early February. We did not know the status of his knee at the time, so he started the game and played well. We later learned the extent of his injury and he had a scope performed on the knee about a week after the all-star game."

Our View:Regardless, the Redskins believe they made a solid 6th round pick based on Kareem's ability. He has the ability to be a starter for the team this year. If healthy, Moore would have a chance to beat out Reed Doughty at strong safety.
