September 19, 2008 Joey LaRocque has been promoted from the Bears' practice squad, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The team promoted him after placing Brandon McGowan on injured reserve.
Our View:The seventh-round rookie out of Oregon State has good speed and instincts, but looks to contribute on special teams and won't see much action in the Bears' rotation at linebacker.
