October 16, 2008 Pro Football Weekly reports that rookie wide receiver Harry Douglas will get more looks as a punt returner and he’s being groomed to eventually take over full time. Douglas has made his mark as a receiver and ballcarrier on reverse plays this season, but scouts envisioned him as a punt returner, as well, when he left Louisville.
Our View:Douglas has 11 catches for 148 yards this season and five carries for 39 yards. For those of you who count yardage and return touchdowns, you will need to keep an eye on his performance as he could play a big role for the Falcons' down the stretch.
