September 20, 2008 Rookie Jamie Silva has been promoted from the practice squad to the Colts' 53-man roster, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Our View:The team needed depth at safety with Bob Sanders (ankle) out and Matt Giordano bothered by back spasms. Silva, who was undrafted, doesn't look to see much action against Jacksonville Sunday and does not merit fantasy attention.
