Our View:Savage has no fantasy value, but he's got a pretty cool name.

Our View:He failed to impress during limited action with the Chiefs this season, but the team would like to sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
November 6, 2008 Dantrell Savage expects to share the workload at running back with Jamaal Charles this weekend at San Diego, according to the Kansas City Star. He said, "I’m getting a lot more reps in practice. The coaches have tried to fit me in with the No. 1 team. That is the plan, to work me in with Jamaal. It’s going to be a tiring week of practice,special teams, scout team, No. 1 team. But that’s why I came here. I love it."
Our View:The rookie has less upside that the explosive Charles, and won't likely see enough action when Larry Johnson returns to make an impact.
