Our View:DJ Williams has returned to the lineup Sunday against Carolina, so it seems like the club is looking for another way to feature their rookie linebacker. Woodyard is athletic with good speed and pass coverage skills and is built more like a safety (6-0, 220 pounds) than a linebacker.
December 5, 2008 Wesley Woodyard has been fined $5,000 for a face-mask penalty against Jets' running back Thomas Jones in Week 13, according to the Denver Post.
Our View:Woodyard was also fined $5,000 in Week 12 for what the NFL deemed to be unnecessary roughness on an Oakland player away from the play.
