Andy McCollum had surgery Tuesday on his left knee to repair the ligaments that he tore in the season opener, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "Everything went real well, and the prognosis looks good that he'll be able to be back next year" coach Scott Linehan said.

Andy McCollum will miss the remainder of the season with two torn ligaments in his left knee. "It's tough," coach Scott Linehan said. "He was playing real well. It's the unfortunate part of our game." Larry Turner, a seventh-round pick in 2004, will likely step in as the starter.
