Jerious Norwood, RB Friday 11/21, 1:54 PM CT
NFL.com reports that Jerious Norwood (ribs) is questionable for Week 12.

Our View: He practiced all week, so we expect him to go. Norwood is averaging 5.6 yards per carry and 10.3 yards per catch. However, he has totaled just 93 touches on while backing up Michael Turner.
Roddy White, WR Friday 11/21, 1:41 PM CT
NFL.com reports that after not practicing all week with a back injury, Atlanta’s leading receiver, Roddy Roddy White, returned to practice on Friday, but is listed a questionable to face the Panthers Sunday.

Our View: White is having a second straight exceptional season as he already has 903 yards and five touchdowns. He is clearly rookie quarterback Matt Ryan's favorite option.
Roddy White, WR Thursday 11/20, 4:40 PM CT
Falcons wideout Roddy White did not practice with the team due to a deep back bruise, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: The team does not seem to think it will keep him out on Sunday, as they anticipate him practicing on Friday.
John Abraham, DE Wednesday 11/19, 4:23 PM CT
John Abraham was limited in practice on Wednesday, according to the Falcons' official site.

Our View: Abraham is valuable in IDP leagues with 11.0 sacks this season and three forced fumbles.
Roddy White, WR Wednesday 11/19, 4:21 PM CT
Roddy White missed Wednesday's practice with a back injury, according to the Falcons' official site.

Our View: We'll keep you updated on White's status in the next couple of days.
Jason Elam, K Wednesday 11/19, 4:19 PM CT
Jason Elam was limited in practice on Wednesday, according to the Falcons' official site.

Our View: Elam will likely play this week while taking it easy in practice.
Eric Weems, WR Wednesday 11/19, 9:25 AM CT
Eric Weems has been promoted from the Falcons' practice squad to the active roster, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The club waived defensive lineman Brandon Miller as the adjoining move.

Our View: The second-year pro out of Bethune-Cookman only saw one game of action as a rookie in 2007, and won't be ready to make an impact if called into action.
Sam Baker, OT Monday 11/17, 5:28 PM CT
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that left tackle Sam Baker (back) has been ruled out for Week 12.

Our View: He did not play last week either as he is still recovering from back surgery.
Grady Jackson, DT Monday 11/17, 5:24 PM CT
Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson, who was suspended four games by the NFL, will have appeals heard later this week, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: Jackson can keep playing until his appeal is heard and a decision is rendered. He has been a non-factor as an IDP player this season.
Laurent Robinson, WR Sunday 11/16, 8:24 PM CT
Laurent Robinson left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury and didn't return, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: Robinson has some ability, but injuries and inconsistency have made him useless in fantasy.
Roddy White, WR Sunday 11/16, 3:00 PM CT
Wide receiver Roddy White caught five passes for 102 yards in the Week 11 loss to the Broncos.

Our View: White's day will be more remembered for his huge drop late in the fourth quarter on a 3rd-and-18 play. Fantasy owners may be happy with the 102 yards, but Roddy is probably still kicking himself.
Michael Turner, RB Sunday 11/16, 2:58 PM CT
Running back Michael Turner rushed 25 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 11 loss to the Broncos.

Our View: The Burner continues to be a fantasy stud. He is up to nine touchdowns, and eight of those scores have come at home.
Michael Turner, RB Sunday 11/16, 11:19 AM CT
Running back Michael Turner (hand) is active for the Week 11 game against the Broncos.

Our View: The Broncos defense is awful, and Turner is obviously a very good fantasy start.
Jason Elam, K Sunday 11/16, 11:18 AM CT
Kicker Jason Elam (hip) is active for the Week 11 game against the Broncos.

Our View: Fantasy owners can feel free to use the veteran in a meeting against his old mates. He is a strong start.
D.J. Shockley, QB Sunday 11/16, 10:48 AM CT
Week 11 inactives: QB D.J. Shockley (3rd), CB Brent Grimes, S Thomas DeCoud, LB Tony Gilbert, C Alex Stepanovich, OT Sam Baker, DE Simon Fraser, DT Kindal Moorehead.

Our View: Michael Turner, John Abraham, Michael Boley, Todd Weiner, and Jason Elam are all active. Baker is missing his fourth straight game.
Michael Turner, RB Saturday 11/15, 1:41 PM CT
Michael Turner is nursing a hand injury but is expected to start Sunday's battle against the Broncos, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: Turner is 110 rushing yards away from his first 1,000-yard campaign. He should remain penciled into fantasy lineups against the Broncos' 27th ranked run defense.
Domonique Foxworth, CB Thursday 11/13, 12:00 PM CT
Falcons cornerback Domonique Foxworth, who was unhappy being low on the depth chart early in the year, has proved his worth, and is helping to stabilize the entire team's secondary, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View: Foxworth was traded to the team from Denver, and he was not happy that he was not playing, but an injury to Brent Grimes opened the door for Foxworth, and he responded.
Adam Jennings, WR Tuesday 11/11, 5:49 PM CT
Falcons kick returner Adam Jennings was released by the team on Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Our View: Jennings was the Falcons main return man for the last two years but will now be looking for a job.
Sam Baker, OT Tuesday 11/11, 4:53 PM CT
ESPN is reporting that Sam Baker will not play in Week 11 due to a back injury.

Our View: Baker had back surgery earlier in the year but the Falcons were hoping to get him back this week.
Grady Jackson, DT Tuesday 11/11, 9:55 AM CT
Grady Jackson, who is facing a four-game suspension by the NFL, has opted to file a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer (Balanced Health Products) of StarCaps in Superior Court of California on Monday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He thought he was taking a papaya extract.

Our View: Jackson is seeking restitution and damages for false advertising and unfair business practices against the company, as well as the retailers for selling StarCaps. His suspension is currently in the appeals process.
John Abraham, DE Monday 11/10, 11:59 AM CT
It has been revealed that John Abraham suffered a stinger in his left shoulder during Sunday's battle with New Orleans, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: The team is yet to update his status. He would be a tough loss if forced to miss any time, as he leads the Falcons with 11 sacks.
Roddy White, WR Sunday 11/9, 3:45 PM CT
Roddy White reeled in five balls for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Week 10 victory over New Orleans.

Our View: White, who has scored five touchdowns in the past five games, continues to torch NFL cornerbacks. The UAB product is a legitimate fantasy No. 1 wideout in all formats.
Jerious Norwood, RB Sunday 11/9, 3:31 PM CT
Jerious Norwood posted six carries for 17 yards, along with two receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Week 10 win over New Orleans.

Our View: Norwood, who has compiled 198 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games, is a serviceable flex option in PPR leagues, especially during favorable matchups.
Michael Turner, RB Sunday 11/9, 3:25 PM CT
Michael Turner toted the rock 27 times for 97 yards and one touchdown in the Week 10 victory over New Orleans.

Our View: In four home games this season, the Burner has compiled 475 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Matt Ryan, QB Sunday 11/9, 3:20 PM CT
Matt Ryan was extremely efficient completing 16-of-23 passes for 248 yards with two touchdowns against no inteceptions in the Week 10 victory over New Orleans.

Our View: Ryan has thrown for 220 or more yards in each of the past four games, and multiple touchdown passes in four of the past five contests.
John Abraham, DE Sunday 11/9, 1:47 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, defensive end John Abraham has reentered the game against New Orleans at the start of the second half.

Our View: Good news for Abraham owners in IDP leagues, not so good news for quarterback Drew Brees.
John Abraham, DE Sunday 11/9, 1:23 PM CT
Defensive end John Abraham exited the game against New Orleans in the second quarter with an undisclosed injury.

Our View: Abraham, who walked off the field under his own power, was replaced in the lineup by Chauncey Davis. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
Sam Baker, OT Sunday 11/9, 11:20 AM CT
Falcons inactives: QB D.J. Shockley (3rd), FS Thomas DeCoud, CB David Irons, LB Tony Gilbert, OT Sam Baker, DE Simon Fraser, OT Quinn Ojinnaka, WR Adam Jennings.

Our View: None of the players on this list are fantasy relevant.
Jerious Norwood, RB Friday 11/7, 12:12 PM CT
The Falcons would like to get Jerious Norwood more involved in the offense, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coach Mike Smith said, "Jerious is a very gifted athlete. He can do a number of things. He’s very multi-faceted. He’s an integral part of our football team. It’s not a surprise that he’s had the success that he’s had. When you give him opportunities to get touches he’s made the most of them."

Our View: He was more involved in Week 9 as he rushed 13 times for 63 yards. He is averaging six yards per carry as the primary backup to Michael Turner, and could be worth employing as a flex option Sunday against a soft Saints' defense, assuming he sees a favorable workload.
Matt Ryan, QB Wednesday 11/5, 8:04 PM CT
Falcons rookie Matt Ryan has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week, according to Profootballweekly.com.

Our View: Ryan threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-0 win against the Raiders. After being named NFL Rookie of the Month for October, this is Ryan’s first career Player of the Week Award.
Todd Weiner, T Wednesday 11/5, 7:54 PM CT
Atlanta Falcons offensive tackle Todd Weiner was limited during practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: Even though Weiner was held out of practice on Wednesday the Falcons are confident that he will be able to go in Week 10.
John Abraham, DE Sunday 11/2, 7:31 PM CT
John Abraham had a huge game for the Falcons on Sunday, sacking Oakland's quarterback JaMarcus Russell three times and finished with five total tackles.

Our View: Abraham continues to add value to the Falcons' defense in fantasy, and will try and build on this performance next week against the Saints.
Roddy White, WR Sunday 11/2, 6:42 PM CT
Roddy White had five receptions for just 54 yards Sunday, without scoring.

Our View: Fantasy owners counting on another huge week from White were disappointed, but he could bounce back next week against New Orleans.
Jerious Norwood, RB Sunday 11/2, 6:39 PM CT
Jerious Norwood rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries on Sunday.

Our View: Norwood's not a great fantasy option, but could become more valuable is Turner goes down.
Michael Jenkins, WR Sunday 11/2, 6:26 PM CT
Michael Jenkins had a big day for the Falcons on Sunday, making two receptions with both going for touchdowns, netting 64 yards receiving.

Our View: Jenkins still isn't a consistent fantasy performer, but could be an option in deeper leagues.
Michael Turner, RB Sunday 11/2, 6:21 PM CT
Michael Turner ran for 139 yards on 31 carries on Sunday, but didn't find his way into the end zone on Sunday.

Our View: Even though Jenkins didn't score at all this week, he still was very productive for fantasy owners. Keep him in your lineup next week against the Saints.
Matt Ryan, QB Sunday 11/2, 6:14 PM CT
Matt Ryan completed 17 of 22 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders Sunday.

Our View: Ryan's fantasy value continues to rise as he's been limiting mistakes and capitalizing on weak defenses. If you need another quarterback, sign him while you still can.
Jerious Norwood, RB Sunday 11/2, 2:25 PM CT
QB D.J. Shockley (3rd), FS Thomas DeCoud, CB David Irons, LB Tony Gilbert, C Alex Stepanovich, T Sam Baker, DE Simon Fraser, and WR Adam Jennings are all inactive for the Falcons.

Our View: Jerious Norwood has been dealing with a concussion, but is active and will backup Michael Turner in a favorable match-up against Oakland.
Michael Turner, RB Sunday 11/2, 10:27 AM CT
There is a 40 percent chance of showers early in the Falcons' game at Oakland.

Our View: The Falcons could look to keep the ball on the ground more with a rookie at quarterback (Matt Ryan), and while dealing with a solid Raiders' secondary, which could bode well for Michael Turner's workload and production.
