Newsbreakers
Kelly Gregg, DTMonday 10/6, 6:05 PM CT
Kelly Gregg will undergo micro-fracture surgery on his injured knee on Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season, according to the National Football Post.

Our View:Gregg is second on the Ravens all-time tackle list with 618 but his career has been derailed because of injury as he was never able to make it onto the field this season after previously having surgery on his knee during the offseason.
Derrick Mason, WRMonday 10/6, 5:00 PM CT
As expected, HC John Harbaugh reiterated on Monday that the injury to the thumb of Derrick Mason was indeed minor, according to the Baltimore Sun. "Derrick Mason should be fine," Harbaugh said. "He's going through some bumps and bruises. He's going to spend a little time in treatment this week."

Our View:Mason has 21 receptions in his four games this season and continues to be a solid WR3 option in PPR leagues despite the struggles of Joe Flacco.
Derrick Mason, WRSunday 10/5, 8:57 PM CT
Derrick Mason injured his left thumb in Week 5 but the Baltimore Sun is reporting that the injury is not serious.

Our View:Mason has had a good start to the 2008 season with 261 receiving yards in four games but has yet to get into the end zone. The Ravens rookie quarterback, Joe Flacco, is definitely comfortable with throwing to Mason.
