Bills unsure of Edwards' status after concussion
Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Buffalo Bill head coach Dick Jauron was noncommittal on the status of quarterback Trent Edwards, who left Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals with a concussion.

Jauron, speaking at a press conference on Monday, said that Edwards is following the protocol the Bills have for all players who sustain concussions. The Bills have a bye this week, and next play on October 19, when they host San Diego.

Jauron would not say whether Edwards will be available for the game against the Chargers.

Newsbreakers
Roscoe Parrish, WRTuesday 10/7, 4:33 PM CT
Bills receiver Roscoe Parrish was initially supposed to miss up to four weeks with an injured thumb but today he told the AP that he may return to practice next week. "Right now, I'm just taking it day by day and everything's been pretty good," Parrish said. "This bye week is helping me out a lot, so that's a good thing right there."

Our View:This week the Bills have their bye and this will help give Parrish more time to recover and get back in the lineup. The receiver does not hold any fantasy value when he returns to the field.
Aaron Schobel, DETuesday 10/7, 1:55 PM CT
Bills defensive end Aaron Schobel was limited in practice Tuesday due to a sore foot, according to BuffaloBills.com. "I’m no doctor, hopefully I can get over it. It was feeling better. It’s a little sore, but I’ll be alright," he said.

Our View:Schobel played with the ailment last Sunday. He has not been terribly effective this season, accumulating just one sack so far.
John McCargo, DTTuesday 10/7, 12:41 PM CT
Buffalo Bills defensive tackle John McCargo was excused from practice on Tuesday to tend to personal matters, according to BuffaloBills.com.

Our View:McCargo has been a bust since being drafted in the first round in 2006. Almost universally, pundits thought the pick was odd, and in that sense have been proven to be correct. He has not made a single tackle this season.
