Bears place Vasher on IR Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears have placed cornerback
Nathan Vasher on injured reserve because of a broken hand.
Vasher originally injured his wrist in a Week 4 game against Philadelphia and
missed three games because of surgery. He was again hurt last week against St.
Louis.
In eight games this season, Vasher recorded 29 tackles with one interception.
He had his season cut short last year because of a groin injury.
The Bears filled the roster spot by promoting fullback Jason Davis from the
practice squad to the active roster.
Nose tackle Dusty Dvoracek will miss the final four games after rupturing his right biceps during a loss at Minnesota on Sunday night, according to the AP.
Our View:Dvoracek has been having a good year and was developing into a solid run stopper. This will be a big loss for the Bears defense.
Dusty Dvoracek sustained a serious arm injury in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, according to the Associated Press. Coach Lovie Smith said, "It isnt looking good."
Our View:Dvoracek was developing into a solid tackle, and this looks to be a tough loss for an already unstable Bears' defense.
