Report: Vikings' Henderson placed on injured reserve Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Vikings middle linebacker E.J.
Henderson has reportedly been placed on injured reserve after dislocating two
toes on his left foot, ending his season.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported Monday that Henderson, who leads the
Vikings in tackles with 27 entering Monday's game at New Orleans, will be
replaced on the active roster by left tackle Bryant McKinnie, who was

The following players are inactive for the Vikings in their Monday Night Matchup with the Saints, according to Saints Official Website. The players are as follows: DT Letroy Guion, FB Thomas Tapeh, S Madieu Williams, WR Sidney Rice, T Marcus Johnson, T Drew Radovich, John David Booty (3rd QB) and CB Benny Sapp.
Our View:Rice was thought to be active this week despite dealing with the PCL injury in his knee, but apparently he just isn't healthy enough to give it a go on this night. Bernard Berrian will have to step up his play with the absence of Rice.
E.J. Henderson has been placed on the season ending injured reserve list due to two dislocated toes, according to the Kansas City Star. Henderson's roster spot will likely be taken by LT Bryant McKinnie.
Our View:Henderson had missed only three games in his six year career, and coming off a season of 119 tackles this is a huge loss to the Vikes linebacking corps as well as those IDP owners who had counted on E.J. in '08.
