Our View:Morris is doing nothing to make the fans stop praying that Laurence Maroney and LaMont Jordan can get healthy. Sammy has three scores this year, but he has generally struggled in the primary role.
Safety Brandon Meriweather is questionable to return after he suffered a hip injury during the second quarter of the Week 6 game in San Diego, the Boston Globe reports. Lewis Sanders has taken his place.
Our View:The Patriots pass defense hasn't been particularly great early in the year, and they've been beaten up and burned by the Chargers thus far tonight. It didn't seem like Meriweather's injury was serious, and they can ill afford to lose him.
