Mike Karney, RB Wednesday 12/3, 4:17 PM CT
Mike Karney practiced for the first time since he tore the MCL in his right knee, according to the Times-Picayune.

Our View: Karney said he felt good and hopes to return to the field after missing the last three games.
Kevin Kaesviharn, S Wednesday 12/3, 4:14 PM CT
Kevin Kaesviharn did not practice on Wednesday because of a shoulder injury, according to the Times-Picayune.

Our View: The Saints have listed Kaesviharn as doubtful for this weekend's game against the Falcons.
Reggie Bush, RB Wednesday 12/3, 4:10 PM CT
Reggie Bush was on the practice field today for the Saints and will be ready to play again in Week 14, according to the Times-Picayune.

Our View: Bush was able to play last week but only mustered 32 yards receiving and none rushing. This week with the Falcons in town he should be more effective.
Terrence Holt, S Wednesday 12/3, 2:29 PM CT
Safety Terrence Holt was signed by the Saints on Wednesday, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View: Holt was with Chicago this season but was released in the middle of November. He will provide depth to the Saints' secondary.
Rob Ninkovich, LB Wednesday 12/3, 2:28 PM CT
Defensive end Rob Ninkovich was signed by the New Orleans Saints as the team shores up the roster spots that were voided by suspended players Will Smith and Deuce McAllister, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View: Ninkovich was actually drafted by the Saints two seasons ago, but injuries to both of his knees ended his career there, until now.
Charles Grant, DE Tuesday 12/2, 4:35 PM CT
Charles Grant has been suspended for the final four games of the regular season due to violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He was one of six players to test positive for water pills, which can be used to mask steroids.

Our View: Grant was placed on the IR back on November 5th, so this ruling doesn't really affect him unless the league decides to carry the suspension over to next season. He likely will not be suspended next year and will just not be paid for the remaining four games of the year. He would've been paid while being listed on the IR if not for the suspension.
Will Smith, DE Tuesday 12/2, 4:31 PM CT
Will Smith has been suspended for the remainder of the regular season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View: Smith has had some fantasy value this year with three sacks, a forced fumble, and 47 total tackles. However, he can be dropped now as he wouldn't be eligible to return until the NFL's playoffs. It's unlikely the Saints will make it now though, as they sit in last place in the NFC South.
Deuce McAllister, RB Tuesday 12/2, 4:24 PM CT
Deuce McAllister was suspended on Tuesday for the final four games of the regular season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. McAllister tested for taking a water pill, which can be used to mask steroid use and have been banned by the league due to this property.

Our View: McAllister has been a great fantasy player lately, but you can go ahead and cut him now as he won't help anyone the rest of the way. If the Saints were to make the playoffs, he would be allowed to return on December 29th, but that won't help fantasy owners.
