Report: Al Davis finally ready to fire Kiffin Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis is
reportedly prepared to fire second-year head coach Lane Kiffin on Tuesday.
According to the Oakland Tribune, Davis was interviewing candidates to
replace Kiffin Monday night.
Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp, offensive line coach Tom Cable and
Paul Hackett, a scout with the organization and former offensive coordinator,
were believed to be interviewed.

Darren McFadden is still sporting a protective boot, and was unable to practice Monday, according to the Oakland Tribune. He is dealing with a toe injury.
Our View:Oakland is coming off their bye, so it is a bit of a concern that McFadden did not practice. We will keep you posted on the rookie's status throughout the week heading into Oakland's favorable match-up with New Orleans.
John Madsen has returned to Oakland to fill Seth Wand's (placed on IR) spot on the roster, according to the Oakland Tribune.
Our View:Madsen was previously waived on September 19 by the Raiders to make room for tight end Ben Troupe. Madsen is merely adequate as an NFL tight end, and holds no value.
Seth Wand has been placed on season-ending IR by the Raiders, according to the Oakland Tribune. Tight end John Madsen has been brought back to the team to fill Wand's spot on the roster.
Our View:Wand is not a solid pro, and provided little depth to the Raiders' offensive line.
