Our View:Briere and Richards seemed to develop a nice chemistry last year, so this should be a good thing for both of their fantasy values.
September 8, 2008 Daniel Briere scored 72 points last season in 79 games for the Flyers, though he was also saddled with an awful (-22) mark, something he hopes to improve this year, according to Hockey Buzz's Bill Meltzer.
Our View:While Briere should continue to produce points, he should also improve on the defensive side of the puck as the entire Flyers roster will be more focused in that area of the game. Plus, a healthy Simon Gagne up front and an improved and more mobile blueline should aid in the transition game helping to limit defensive lapses with the puck.
