Our View:Briere returned from his groin malady on Tuesday, and it took him until the second period to re-injure it. Fantasy owners should simply continue the course of action they took when Briere was originally put on the shelf.

Briere was a force coming into this series but has just two shots on goal against Pittsburgh thus far (neither resulting in a goal). As a result, winger Vinny Prospal was moved to the R.J. Umberger line as the team hopes to find some way of lighting a fire under a roster that has failed to get the job done.

Things figure to turn around eventually, but with that horrid plus/minus, you need to look elsewhere right now for some production.
