February 28, 2007 Vitali Vishnevsky will be back in the Predators lineup tonight, according to the Nashville Tennessean. Vishnevsky was a healthy scratch on Sunday and played sparingly the previous night. "The whole thought (behind the trade for Vishnevski) was not for Vitaly to be a seventh defenseman, so as we learn about Vitaly, he'll learn about us and we'll make a decision in terms of where he fits and what he brings to the table," coach Barry Trotz said. "We know he brings a more physical element to the table, which is fine."
February 11, 2007 On Saturday, the Thrashers traded Vitaly Vishnevski to the Predators for Eric Belanger, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He hadn't played for the Thrashers since the end of last month and scored on 12 points in 52 games this season.
