August 8, 2008 Tyler Bouck has been signed to an undisclosed contract by the Sabres, according to TSN.
Our View:The 28-year-old notched 11 goals, 18 assists and 86 penalty minutes over 79 games while working as the captain of the Portland Pirates of the AHL last season. The former second-round pick of the Stars (1998) has only recorded four goals and eight assists over 91 career games with the Canucks. He is not expected to make an impact with the Sabres next season.
