February 5, 2007 J.P. Vigier isn't expected to miss much action due to his groin injury; he should return to action in about a week or so, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Thrashers placed him on injured reserve on Friday.
August 7, 2006 J.P. Vigier re-signed with Atlanta on Monday, according to the AP. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Vigier had four goals and six assists in 41 games last season. He missed 14 games with a broken foot and then the final 25 because of a knee injury.
