The Ducks traded Stanislav Chistov to Boston Monday in exchange for a third-round draft choice in either 2007 or 2008, according to the AP. Chistov returned from Russia this season to rejoin Anaheim and was held scoreless in the one game he played with them.

The Ducks recalled Stanislav Chistov from Portland of the AHL and inserted him into the lineup Monday, according to the LA Times. Chistov had been sent down on a conditioning assignment.

After playing the 2005-06 season in Russia, Stanislav Chistov will return to the Ducks this season, according to the LA Times. Chistov signed a two-year deal worth $800,000 per season. He had 11 goals and 27 assists in 47 games for the Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Russian Super League last year.
