Jay Bouwmeester scored his second goal of the season while recording his 10 assist as the Panthers fell to the Rangers 4-3.
Our View:Bouwmeester skated more than 31 minutes on the night, and his offensive game has finally started to come around after an awful start as he has scored nine points in his last eight games. He should continue to be one of the better scoring options from the blue line.

Our View:Bouwmeester has just one assist and is a -1 through eight contests this year, hardly the type of production fantasy owners were expecting when they selected him.

Jay Bouwmeester had a goal and two power-play assists in the Panthers trashing of the Islanders by the score of 6-0 on Monday night.
Our View:No one is quite sure where this free agent to be will play in 2009, but Bouwmeester figures to make his fantasy owners mighty happy this season while playing for the Panthers as he figures to be a tremendous source of points from the blue line.
