July 15, 2008 Dan Fritsche has agreed to terms with the Rangers, according to the Miami Herald. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Our View:Fritsche contributed 10 goals and 12 assists over 69 games with Columbus last season. Four of his goals were game-winners. He was acquired with Nikolai Zherdev in a trade with the Blue Jackets earlier this month.
March 20, 2008 According to the Sports Network, Dan Fritsche will miss the final eight games of the regular season with a broken hand.
The 22-year-old Fritsche suffered the injury during the second period of Wednesday's 3-1 loss at Detroit.

March 7, 2008 Dan Fritsche scored the Blue Jackets' only goal in their Friday loss to Edmonton. It was his 9th goal of the season. He did not end the night in good spirits however as he later turned the puck over in his own goal which led to the game winning shot for Edmonton (by Andrew Cogliano).
