Joey MacDonald had a good night to pick up hiw 10th win of the year in his 20th start. He stopped 19-of-21 shots for New York.
Our View:MacDonald now is 10-9-2 this year and has been the primary starter for the Islanders this season after number one goaltender Rick DiPietro was injured early in the season.

Joey MacDonald didn't have an optimal night, but it was good enough for the Islanders to pick up a win, as they beat Montreal in a shootout, 4-3.
Our View:MacDonald stopped just 23-of-26 shots, but he stopped both of Montreal's shootout chances. He has been a solid player for fantasy owners who are using him while Rick DePietro heals.

Joey MacDonald was stellar again for the Islanders on Saturday, stopping 35-of-37 shots against the Sabres to earn his eighth win of the year.
Our View:MacDonald has been a great fill in while Rick DiPietro has been out of commission.
