In the Rangers 4-2 loss to New Jersey on Saturday, Henrik Lundqvist allowed four goals on 12 shots and was replaced in the second period by Stephen Valiquette who stopped all 11 shots he faced.
Our View:Terrible game for one of the league's better goalies. We still expect him to be ready to perform to his usual high standards by the start of the season.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped all of the 29 shots that the Penguins threw his way as the Rangers forced a Game 5 with their victory on Thursday night.
Our View:In four games against the Penguins it has been feast or famine for Henrik as he has allowed five, one, five and zero goals. Henrik displayed his Vezina trophy form tonight, and he will have to do that three more times for the Rangers to defeat the Penguins.

Henrik Lundqvist made 30 saves in a 2-0 loss in Game 2 against Pittsburgh on Sunday. He only allowed one goal, as the other score came on an empty net. The Penguins lead the series 2-0.
Our View:He is now 2-3 over his last five games in the playoffs, while allowing 16 goals over the span.

Henrik Lundqvist is a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, given to the league's best goaltender. It's the third straight season he's been a finalist, but Lundqvist has yet to take home the hardware. He won 37 games, posted a league-best 10 shutouts, and boasted a 2.23 GAA during the 2007-08 season.
Our View:Third time is the charm? We don't need to tell anyone that Lundqvist is one the best fantasy goalies around.

Our View:Lundqvist allowed only two goals in the first two games of the series, though he ahas permitted seven pucks to slip past him his last two times on the ice. Still he is 3-1, and at this time of year all that matters is the W.

Henrik Lundqvist allowed just one goal on 27 shots on Thursday night as the Rangers improved to 8-0-3 in their last 11 games. This was a nice bounce back effort since Henrik had allowed six goals in his last four periods. This victory, his 30th of the season, allowed him to reach that total for the third time in three NHL seasons.

The Wednesday agreement in principal between Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers is official. The team has locked up Lundqvist for the next six years. According to the New York Post and Don Meehan, Lundqvist’s agent, the new contract was completed Friday with the total compensation over six years totaling $41.25 million.
