November 25, 2008 Kevin Bieksa has missed the Canucks last six games with a broken foot and has resumed skating and should return to practice this week, according to the AP.
Our View:It was a good start for Bieksa, who scored three goals and had eight assists in his first 13 games.
November 14, 2008 Kevin Bieksa will miss at least the next two weeks due to a broken foot, according to the Associated Press. “He d been X-rayed two or three times. The X-ray was showing up nothing,” HC Alain Vigneault said (Bieksa was hurt on the fourth of November). “He still felt pain so yesterday we had a scan done, which showed a hairline fracture.”
Our View:The Canucks will go with Rob Davidson in the lineup, but he offers none of the offensive upside that Bieksa brings to the table (11 points in 13 games). Mattias Ohlund could see more power-play time a result of the injury.

Our View:Bieksa is owned in most fantasy leagues, and with good reason. He has nine points in just 11 games this season, and is a +4 as well.
