Our View:Backstrom had a bad night on Monday, allowing six goals on just 26 shots. He was pulled after the second period. He has been fantastic for the majority of the year, going 13-7-1 with a .921 save percentage and a 2.38 goals-allowed-average. The Wild did lose 2-1 to the Blues at home on November 22nd in the teams' first meeting of the year.

Our View:Backstrom has saved over 93 percent of shots on goal this season and he is now 13-6-1 this season. He has been a very good No. 1 option at goalie this season.
