Daniel Girardi scored his first goal of the season and later added a power-play assists for the Rangers on Friday night.
Our View:Girardi has been quite the offensive weapon in the early going with seven assists 10 games from the blue line. Daniel did score 10 goals last season so it is clear that the kid has some offensive game, so continue to ride him while he is hot.

The Rangers signed Daniel Girardi to a contract extension on Saturday. Terms were not disclosed. Girardi, 23, has scored 22 points through 59 games.
