September 18, 2008 The Atlanta Thrashers will monitor the contact of Slava Kozlov in training camp, as he had surgery on his shoulder and knee in the offseason, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Our View:Kozlov was a disappointment last year, scoring only 17 goals, and the team hopes he can step it up. His fantasy value is minimal right now, but there is always the possibility he gets healthy and becomes viable again.
March 19, 2008 Slava Kozlov scored a goal and an assist in a losing effort against the Hurricane (5-3). That was his fourth multi-point game of the season.
December 21, 2007 The Thrashers have juggled their lines to make room for recent addition Mark Recchi, who has settled in on the top unit with Todd White and Marian Hossa. Ilya Kovalchuk is now skating on the second line with Slava Kozlov.
Our View:Kozlov had a career year last season while skating with Kovalchuk, so this move certainly helps his fantasy value.
