Our View:We find it a bit shocking that Shanny hasn't latched on with a team by now, and since he hasn't the specter of his career coming to an ignominious end appears to be a growing possibility.

Our View:Shanahan is still looking for a team, and he would like to stay close to the Eastern seaboard, and even though Pittsburgh is closer to Lake Erie than the Atlantic, it would still seem to qualify.
