Daymond Langkow, C Thursday 11/20, 10:32 PM CT
Daymond Langkow scored the lone goal in the Flames' 1-0 win over the Blackhawks on Thursday night.

Our View: Langkow has scored five goals in 20 games and has 15 points. He is on the Flames top line and is producing.
Matthew Lombardi, C Tuesday 11/18, 5:58 PM CT
Matthew Lombardi has not played in four weeks because of a shoulder injury. The center was back on the ice at this morning's pre-game skate, but he isn't quite ready to play, according to the Calgary Herald.

Our View: Lombardi has only netted one goal in seven games this year. When he is back he doesn't have any fantasy value.
Jarome Iginla, RW Tuesday 11/18, 11:07 PM CT
Jarome Iginla scored an empty net goal in the Flames' 4-1 win over the Avalanche on Tuesday night.

Our View: Iginla now has 11 goals in 19 games this year and that number puts him third in all of the NHL.
Adrian Aucoin, D Tuesday 11/18, 11:11 PM CT
Adrian Aucoin helped the Flames to a 4-1 win over the Avalanche on Tuesday night with a goal and an assist. Aucoin also was a +3 on the night.

Our View: Aucoin has now scored three goals and has four assists but doesn't have any fantasy value.
Jim Vandermeer, D Thursday 11/13, 1:40 PM CT
Flames defenseman Jim Vandermeer is going to be out at least six weeks due to a broken ankle, according to TSN.

Our View: Vandermeer was not relevant in fantasy leagues, as he was a stay-at-home defenseman who had just two assists in 16 games this season.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Thursday 11/13, 11:58 PM CT
Miikka Kiprusoff stopped just 16 of 20 shots before being pulled after one period in the Flames embarrassing 6-1 loss to the Sharks on Thursday night.

Our View: Kipper has allowed at least four goals in four of his last five starts, and at some point the Flames are simply going to have to turn to Curtis McElhinney more often aren't they? Kiprusoff has been abysmal on the year and there is little sign that he is in line to right the ship anytime soon.
Jarome Iginla, RW Tuesday 11/11, 3:15 PM CT
Jarome Iginla was able to practice Tuesday and should be ready to take the ice tonight against the Maple Leafs, according to the Calgary Herald. He has been dealing with the flu.

Our View: The elite winger has scored nine goals and 10 assists over 16 games and should remain penciled into fantasy lineups.
Dustin Boyd, C Tuesday 11/11, 11:10 PM CT
Dustin Boyd registered his first two-goal game Tuesday in the 4-3 win over Toronto.

Our View: Boyd is just one goal away from his career high after just 16 games.
Jarome Iginla, RW Tuesday 11/11, 11:13 PM CT
Jarome Iginla had a goal, two assists and a plus-3 rating in the Flames' 4-3 win over the Leafs Tuesday.

Our View: Iginla trails only Evgeni Malkin with 22 points on the season.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Tuesday 11/11, 11:18 PM CT
Miikka Kiprusoff picked up a win Tuesday, but it wasn't easy. He allowed three goals, including two in waning minutes, in a 4-3 win over Toronto.

Our View: Kiprusoff is off to a horrible start this year, as he's allowed three or more goals (22 total) in each of the last five games.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Sunday 11/9, 8:57 PM CT
Miikka Kiprusoff was bombed for six goals on 27 shots on Sunday night to fall to 8-6-1 for the Flames.

Our View: U-G-L-Y. Kipper has allowed 12 goals in his last two starts and 16 in his last three. With a .888 SV% through 15 starts, Kiprusoff has been a huge disappointment, not to mention detriment, to fantasy squads.
Curtis McElhinney, G Saturday 11/8, 4:54 PM CT
Goalie Curtis McElhinney will get his first start of the season for the Flames on Saturday against the Blue Jackets, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Our View: He appeared in five games a season ago with an 0-2 record, a 2.00 GAA and a .902 save percentage.
Jarome Iginla, RW Saturday 11/8, 8:57 PM CT
Jarome Iginla notched his ninth goal of the season to account for the Flames' only score as they fell 1-3 to Columbus.

Our View: Iginla got off to a slow start this season but has gotten back to his elite pace. He remains one of the best options in all of fantasy hockey.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Thursday 11/6, 11:31 PM CT
It certainly wasn't pretty but Miikka Kiprusoff won his eighth game of the year despite giving up six goals on 29 shots in the Flames 7-6 victory over the Predators.

Our View: Amazingly, the Flames led 5-0 in the game before Kiprusoff tried to waste his mates efforts. This was Kippers' seventh victory in nine games, but he continue to have far too many terrible games with six of his 14 appearances resulting in at least four goals against.
Craig Conroy, C Thursday 11/6, 11:38 PM CT
Craig Conroy had his best game of the season with two goals and an assist for the Flames. In support of Conroy, Todd Bertuzzi had three assists for the Flames.

Our View: Conroy skated with Jarome Iginla on the night, and a trained seal could score skating with that guy. Conroy, even if he stays with Iginla, doesn't figure to be productive enough to be worthy of rostering in most leagues however.
Jarome Iginla, RW Thursday 11/6, 11:47 PM CT
Jarome Iginla was the first star of the Flames and Predators game on Thursday nigh as he scored two goals and dished out two assists in the Flames' 7-6 loss to the Blues.

Our View: Iginla had only two points in four games to start the year, but ever since then he has been like a bull in a china shop as he has scored almost at will with 16 points in his last 10 games. He is hot and there doesn't appear to be anything that opponents can really do to slow him down.
Robyn Regehr, D Tuesday 11/4, 2:26 PM CT
Robyn Regehr practiced with the Flames on Tuesday morning, but will be a game time decision for the game Tuesday night, according to the Calgary Herald.

Our View: Regehr doesn't hold any real fantasy value, with just two assists through 10 games played for the Flames.
Robyn Regehr, D Monday 11/3, 11:52 AM CT
Robyn Regehr missed Sunday's game while dealing with a lower-body injury, and will be out for a "spell," according to the Calgary Sun.

Our View: He holds little fantasy value, but Regehr is a shutdown defenseman for the Flames, and their blueline will be weakended while he is out.
Daymond Langkow, C Sunday 11/2, 12:30 AM CT
Daymond Langkow blasted a goal in the third period to break a 2-2 tie in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Our View: He was a hero tonight, and now has tallied eight points over 11 games. He should remain productive while directing the Flames' top line at center, and should reach at least 30 goals for the third straight season.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Sunday 11/2, 12:39 AM CT
Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 34-of-36 shots in Saturday's close 3-2 win over the Kings.

Our View: He has now won six straight starts, allowing two or less goals five times over the span. He shall remain penciled into fantasy lineups as a No. 1 goalie.
Jarome Iginla, RW Sunday 11/2, 10:16 PM CT
Jarome Iginla had two assists in Calgary's 2-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Our View: Unfortunately, he came up 0-for-5 on his shots. The superstar has six goals and eight assists through his first 11 games.
Miikka Kiprusoff, G Saturday 11/1, 5:23 PM CT
Miikka Kiprusoff is set for his 11th start tonight against the Kings, according to the Calgary Sun.

Our View: He is 6-3-1 with a solid 2.89 goals-against average and should fare well against the 3-5-1 Kings. He is aiming for his sixth straight win.
