Our View:The likely Hall of Famer said he is open to playing for other squads, but New York remains his destination of choice. Shanahan coulde be a useful depth player on fantasy squads after amassing 46 points last season.
Hugh Jessiman, WTuesday 7/22, 11:18 AM CT
Hugh Jessiman has signed a deal with the Rangers, according to the AP. Specific terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Our View:He spent the past three seasons with the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL. He stands at 6-6 230 pounds, and was selected by the Rangers in the first round of the 2003 draft. The team has previously been disappointed by his progress, and he isn't likely to hold any fantasy value next season.
