Ambrose to attempt Infineon in #21Monday 6/16, 8:45 PM CT
Marcos Ambrose will be one of the participants this week at Infineon, as he will make his first attempt to qualify for a NASCAR race. He will be running the Wood Bros No. 21.

Our View: Ambrose did not get a chance to make a run at last year's race at the Glen. Robert Pressley will practice and qualify at Milwaukee so he can concentrate on getting into the Toyota / SaveMart 350k.
Fellows to race #01 at InfineonMonday 6/16, 7:54 PM CT
Ron Fellows will climb into the No. 01 DEI for the Toyota / SaveMart 350k at Infineon Raceway, fresh off his second-in-class run in the 24 Hours of LeMans.

Our View: Fellows has five NASCAR victories in the junior levels and a strong top-10 finish will go a long way toward solidifying this team in the top 35 in points. Currently they sit in 30th, but could be overtaken with a single bad run.
Riggs falls out of top 35Monday 6/16, 6:35 PM CT
Racing is a zero sum game, and Scott Riggs fell out of the top 35 after finishing 33rd in the LifeLock 400. He made room for Michael Waltrip.

Our View: Riggs dropped two spots this week, but with four results of 21st or worse in the last seven races, he's a much better value than others at his level.
Villeneuve finishes 2nd in 24 HoursMonday 6/16, 5:26 PM CT
Jacques Villeneuve was part of the second-place Peugeot team that finished second at the 24 Hours of LeMans.

Our View: Rumor has it that the former F1 ace will now redouble his efforts to find a sponsor for Cup, although it will probably still be some time before we see him on the track again.
Waltrip climbs back into the top 35Monday 6/16, 4:13 PM CT
Michael Waltrip clawed his way back into the top 35 after finishing 23rd at Michigan—despite crashing with Patrick Carpentier on the final lap.

Our View: That was his fourth top-30 finish in the last five weeks, which doesn't exactly make him a driver to start, but it is encouraging for the team to have the guaranteed starting spot again.
Fellows finishes 14th at LeMansMonday 6/16, 3:27 PM CT
Ron Fellows was part of the Corvette Racing team that finished 14th in the 24 Hours of LeMans. The team was second in their class.

Our View: Fellows is often one of the road racing specialists for a NASCAR race and he is primed and ready for Infineon.
Hornish top Michigan rookieMonday 6/16, 2:40 PM CT
Sam Hornish was the Rookie of the Race for the sixth time this season with his 22nd-place finish in the LifeLock 400.

Our View: It should have been much better still, if not for a late-race spin. In fact, with a slightly different strategy, he had a chance to finish among the top five.
