For the sixth time this season, Regan Smith was the Rookie of the Race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a 27th-place finish in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
Our View: This year's crop of freshmen continues to struggle and as a group they have only three top-15s and no top-10s. |

The rain-shortened Lenox Industrial Tools 301 was the worst outing for the sophomore drivers so far this season. David Reutimann finished 19th, but their average among five second-year drivers was 32.6.
Our View: Their previous worst of 31.6 as a group came in the season-opening Daytona 500, and that is where the series returns this weekend. |
