According to ESPN.com, Ryan Newman has reached a verbal agreement to race for Stewart-Haas Racing in 2009, although a written contract could be several weeks in the making.
Our View: Of course, last week this same reporter at ESPN also said that Martin Truex Jr. had signed a two-year agreement with DEI—an assertion the driver vehemently denied—so you may want to wait before celebrating this announcement. |
