Our View: Vujacic used the threat of bolting to Europe to his advantage to secure this deal. The shooting guard has some value in fantasy basketball due to his three-point shooting, but his value could improve if he receives more minutes. |

Our View: West has few options as a restricted free agent right now. He could sign a $2.76 million qualifying offer for the 2008-09 season and become an unrestricted free agent next year. Cavs' GM Danny Ferry has considered sign-and-trade possibilities for West but he really wants to keep West.

Andrew Bynum has made enough progress in his recovery from a dislocated kneecap, and has been cleared by doctors for full contact practices and workouts, according to the LA Daily News. His agent said, "He's absolutely fine, he's going to come in as a beast. He's got no atrophy anywhere. The kid's in great shape. Maybe it comes with being 20 years of age."
Our View: This is encouraging news, as Bynum averaged 13.1 points and 10.2 rebounds over 35 games with Los Angeles last season prior to going down. |
